Whilst our volunteer editors will do their best to ensure our events listings are as up to date and accurate as possible; with the fast pace of how things are changing, it is inevitable that some will slip through the net. If you are planning on travelling for larger events, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly to avoid disappointment. We are putting in place new measures to give event organisers a friendly reminder to see if they wish to remove cancelled events, so we're sorry if it looks a bit bare in here :(

This thriller-cum-ghost story is one of Ayckbourn’s later plays, and full of twists and turns. Set in the garden of a family home, two sisters are brought together by their father’s death, but a sudden appearance is made by the father’s blackmailing former nurse, who claims he was murdered.

Everyman Folk Club presents Jim Causley, 23rd February 2024, 19:30 to 22:30 at Riverside Centre, Great Glemham Road, Stratford St. Andrew, Saxmundham (14 miles)
More than simply a folk-singer, multi-award winning singer-songwriter and musician, Jim, is an all-round entertainer. His beautiful singing, moving ballads, hilarious ditties and everything in between draw from the traditional and contemporary repertoire, his own compositions, and settings of poems by his relative, Cornish poet Charles Causley. All served with a gurt dollop of Westcountry humour.

The Everyman meets on the last Friday of each month during January to May and September to November. Doors open at 7.00pm and all events start at 7.30pm prompt. Gainsborough's House Museum, 14th March 2024, 13:00 to 13:50 at Museum Street Methodist Church, Ipswich, Black Horse Lane, Ipswich (9.3 miles)
Lunchtime lecture hosted by the Ipswich Arts Association at Museum Street Methodist Church, Ipswich. Dr. Steven Parissien will be discussing developments of Gainsborough's House Museum in Sudbury.
Gainsborough's House Museum is an art gallery in Sudbury, Suffolk which houses an important collection of Gainsborough's work, as well as paintings by other significant British artists such as Joshua Reynolds, John Constable and J Turner.

Dr Steven Parissien will be discussing the recent development of Gainsborough's House Museum funded by a Lottery Grant, and looks at some of the gallery's upcoming exhibitions.

The talk will be take place at the Museum Street Methodist Church, entrance in Black Horse Lane. Admission is free with a retiring collection of a £3 donation to cover costs.


Brentwood Mac , 15th March 2024, 19:30 to 22:30 at Headgate Theatre Colchester, Chapel Street North, Colchester (17.5 miles)
Brentwood Mac is a six-piece amalgamation of some of the finest local musicians who all love the Fleetwood Mac catalogue. Their performances include songs from all eras of the band, from the early Peter Green days (Albatross), to solo tracks by Lindsey Buckingham (Go Insane) & Stevie Nicks (Rooms on Fire). They play a wide selection of hits and a few lesser known tracks. They are not afraid to throw in the odd cover version either, and occasionally put their own interpretations on the songs – so don’t expect a pure Fleetwood Mac replica performance, but do expect a fabulous evening.

Ipswich Ladies Hockey Club
Ipswich Ladies Hockey Club is the only Premier National League club in Suffolk and we aim to cater for all standards of players.
