Felixstowe Beach

Part of the resort beach of Felixstowe, this is a shingle and sand beach with concrete groynes. It is gently sloping with sand at low tide, backed by seafront gardens and children's amusements. There is a wide promenade, which is level with the beach. There is plentiful seating and beach huts for hire.

The South beach at Felixstowe has been awarded a Blue Flag and an ENCAMS Seaside Award.
Both awards set minimum standards for water quality, cleanliness and facilities. If you'd like more information, refer to the the requirements for Blue Flag or Seaside award criteria.
