The museum is housed in the Ravelin block adjacent to Landguard Fort. There are 12 rooms covering history of the Fort, Felixstowe local history, Roman Felixstowe, the RAF, a pleasure steamer room, a naval room, St Audry's Mental Hospital and the Dutch invasion of 1667. A new room dedicated to aircraft with over 200 models from 1913. Also a model room of over 200 aircraft and a coastal forces 'Beehive' display.
Admission is only £1.00 for adults and £0.50 for children, the museum is open Wedsnesdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from 13:00 to 17:30. From October, the museum will be open on Sundays from 13:00 to 17:30.
